Samsung S5PV210 Overview:
Samsung electronics company presented two processors ARM CORTEX-A8. The new CPU operates at the frequency 1 GHz. They obtained the designations S5PC110 and S5PV210. The first model is intended for smartphone and devices similar to them, and the second for larger device such as netbooks.
S5PC110 and S5PV210 have a small energy consumption, which positively affected the battery life. The low required power is due to the application of energy-economy technologies and 45-nm technology, optimized for low energy consumption.
The Processors have 32 KB cache commands and data, and 512 KB cache second level. The large cache volume and high clock frequency reduce the response time of user interface and ensure the solution of fairly complicated problems, such as web- pages.
For the acceleration of 3d- graphs and also HD video the processors S5PC110 and S5PV210 are equipped with the integrated graphic core with support of full HD (1080p with the frequency 30 frames per second). Furthermore, they have a built-in interface HDMI 1.3 and USB 2.0.
